Seven-figure businesses
Businesses built across multiple categories rather than one lucky niche or one platform cycle.
For more than 15 years, Scot has built businesses, created demand, taught entrepreneurs how to grow, and turned what works in the field into repeatable systems other people can use.

Scot Smith is an entrepreneur, direct-response marketer, educator and business builder whose career has centered on a simple question: how do you create predictable growth instead of starting every month from zero?
His work has crossed insurance, wholesale distribution, digital marketing, online education and customer acquisition. Along the way, Scot built three businesses to more than $1 million in annual revenue, started agencies from scratch, managed teams across sales and marketing, and turned those lessons into frameworks other founders could actually use.
That operating experience became the foundation for Rainmaker University, where Scot has personally mentored more than 1,000 agency owners, media buyers, founders and entrepreneurs — including several founders whose companies have appeared on ABC's Shark Tank.
He has also created long-form business training, mastermind programs and podcasts, including The Agency Model, and his course-growth work was featured in a Teachable case study after generating more than 600 enrollments in roughly a week.
Scot's work keeps returning to the same three disciplines: create demand, build the system around it, then teach the system clearly enough that someone else can run it.
Businesses built across multiple categories rather than one lucky niche or one platform cycle.
Agency owners, media buyers, founders and operators — including several founders whose companies appeared on Shark Tank.
A course-growth experiment documented by Teachable became one more example of turning attention into action.
Rainmaker University combined live teaching, recorded training, operating frameworks and mastermind sessions.
Courses, podcasts, frameworks and operating playbooks have always been part of the work — not as a separate “personal brand,” but as a way to pressure-test ideas and make them useful.
Training and mastermind programs for agency owners, media buyers, founders and performance marketers.
A podcast about entrepreneurship, sales, agency ownership and the lessons that only show up after you've actually built the thing.
Practical material on direct response, sales, customer acquisition, operations and decision-making.
Scot now applies the same operating discipline to paid acquisition, territory strategy, borrower acquisition and nurture — building a pipeline the loan officer can actually control.
